Backache
In addition to discomfort or pain in the back, headaches can cause muscle stiffness, decreased range of motion, and occasionally even agony that radiates down the legs. Maintaining good posture, using appropriate body mechanics when moving heavy objects, and engaging in regular exercise to strengthen the back muscles are precautions for controlling backaches. Using hot or cold packs, doing mild stretching exercises, and over-the-counter pain medicines are some of the available treatment choices. For targeted treatment and rehabilitation, a medical evaluation may be required in more severe or persistent cases in order to determine the underlying cause. Physical therapy, prescribed drugs, or other interventions such as chiropractic care may also be suggested. Modifications to lifestyle, such as better posture and weight control, are vital for preventing repeated back pain and maintaining spinal health in general.
