The Dermatology & Cosmetology Department diagnoses and treats diseases of the skin, hair and nails. Common conditions managed include acne, eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections, vitiligo, allergies, hair loss and sexually transmitted dermatological presentations.

Dermatologic procedures such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, electrocautery, mole removal and wound care are performed in a clinical setting. Allergy patch testing and counselling for chronic skin conditions help reduce flare-ups and improve daily comfort.

Cosmetology services include chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser hair reduction, anti-ageing treatments and medical management of melasma and pigmentation disorders. Treatments are personalised after skin-type assessment and realistic expectation setting.

Skin cancer screening, suspicious lesion evaluation and timely referral for surgical excision are important preventive priorities. Sun protection education and skincare guidance are provided to all patients.
