The Kidney Transplant & Nephrology Department at Shree Ganga Hospital provides comprehensive and specialised care for patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases. Our team manages a wide range of kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury, diabetic nephropathy, glomerular diseases, kidney infections, electrolyte disorders, renal hypertension and end-stage kidney disease.

Our nephrology services include advanced evaluation, medical management and long-term monitoring for patients at different stages of kidney disease. We focus on early diagnosis, slowing disease progression and preserving kidney function wherever possible through personalised treatment plans, regular monitoring and lifestyle and nutritional guidance.

Dialysis Services

Haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis services are provided with a focus on patient safety, infection control and continuity of care. Our team provides vascular access care, fluid balance monitoring, management of anaemia and bone-mineral disorders, along with nutritional guidance to support better patient comfort and long-term outcomes.

Kidney Transplant Services

Our Kidney Transplant Programme provides comprehensive evaluation and care for patients with end-stage kidney disease who may be suitable for transplantation. The transplant process includes donor-recipient evaluation and matching, pre-transplant investigations, immunological assessment and detailed patient and family counselling.

Kidney transplant care is supported by a multidisciplinary team, including nephrologists, transplant surgeons, urology specialists, anaesthesiologists and critical care professionals. Following transplantation, patients receive regular follow-up and monitoring, including immunosuppression management and guidance for long-term kidney health.

Critical care nephrology support is also available for ICU patients requiring specialised kidney care and renal replacement therapy. We work in coordination with cardiology, endocrinology, internal medicine and other specialties to manage patients with complex or multi-organ medical conditions.
